Slacking

I've been slacking on updating, so that means i've been slacking on painting.

Solo me queda una semana en el instituto, y estoy super picado con los sopranos, pero alguien llevo la tercer temporada de la biblioteca, asi que tengo que esperar un poco para continuar. Sigo siendo totalmente nutral en decidir que voy a hacer el año que viene. Estoy intentando encoporar mas frases manchegas en mi vocabulario. Empachado, and ''ni de coña'' for starters.

Today, i painted all day, spoke with some english kids in spanish, celebrated birdo's graduation, and started watching the sopranos. Thinking about getting a don quijote tattoo

So its been a while, partly due to the fact that i have been extremely busy, and extremely NOT busy at the same time. I have been traveling a ton, and in the last month and a half i've been to Paris, London, Madrid, Jaén, and Almeria, this weekend Puerto Llano, then the next is Salemanca, then Barcelona for Primavera Sound Festival, Then im done working, and i have all of june and half of July for exploring. In between which i have been working VERY LITTLE, as in all of April i worked 8 hours, 5 of which were in the last week of april. I've been kicking ass at painting lately, and working hard to finish up some more paintings as well as starting some new ones. i'm super close to finishing alot of my paintings, including some that i had previously given up on. I noticed that i had a lot more paintings then i thought i did. Which is great that i have been painting a lot, but also bad cause ill probably end up leaving alot of them here. but oh well, my spanish friends are going to make out like bandits.

I love speaking spanish.

I love painting.

I love trains.

I love the beach.

I want to learn to play the bass.

I got officially accepted and placed today for next year teaching here, i still don't know what to do. I need to make a pros and cons list. I miss everyone and everything about Texas, but im totally in love with Spain.

Dance Yourself Clean

I've been on cloud 9 lately. Great music, great friends, great conversations, great experiences, painting, traveling. Started a new painting today (thursday duh...still havn't finished anything else hah)

i'm so grateful for all the amazing opportunities i have had so far. i feel super lucky and super blessed. I am alive, and i am living.

Today was a beautiful day in Manzanares, sunny and just warm enough to wear a t shirt if you were sitting in the sun. I only had one class so i spent the afternoon reading in the Plaza de las Palomas. Today i finished reading This book.
It is truly a work of art, i have never read a book like it and i recommend it to anyone that can get their hands on it. I've also painted a bit today, but i'm going to get back to painting in a hot second. I've been really happy lately, and painting a lot, i don't know which one influences the other more. But i'm finally finally finally getting close to finishing some of my paintings. Here is another sneak preview, and i promise ill post some full shots as i continue finishing them.

i've been really inspired latey, with nothing in particular, and im trying to be a little more spontaneous with my cuadros, este blog me ayuda a tener un ridmo para los martes y jueves. Hoy no tengo clase, asi que voy a cocinar un almuerzo delicioso, ducharme, y pintar hasta que ya no puedo. Also march goal complete, buy tickets for Londres, and buy bateries for my Dictaphone recorder.
